La Rue Thomson STRIEBY (Samuel Sedam, Aaron Lewis, Joseph, Jacob, Jacob, Hans Michael) was born on 22 JAN 1911 in Stanwood, Iowa. He died on 3 OCT 1989 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co, Ohio.

La Rue worked as a claims examiner with the Bureau of Retirement and Insurance, U. S. Civil Service Commission in Washington D. C. Prior to that he was an insurance underwriter and correspondence group supervisor, War Department, in the Adjutant General's office. During World War II he was in the army medical corps from April 1941 to November 1945. His foreign service was in England, France, Belgium, and Germany with the 7th Hospital Train. He was awarded a combat star and citation for meritorious service. He graduated from Smith Center, Kansas, high school and the George Washington University, Washington D. C. where he received a B. S. degree in psychology. He was president of Berwin P. T. A. and director of church music, berwin Baptist Church, College Park, Maryland.

La married Hazel CHRISTIENSEN on 22 DEC 1940 in Washington D. C.. Hazel was born on 23 AUG 1913 in Jamestown, Kansas.
