Wilfred Jay STRIEBY (Jonathan Follmer, Joseph, Jacob, Jacob, Hans Michael) was born on 4 AUG 1889 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. He died in FEB 1975 in Marathon, Monroe Co, Florida.

Wilfred graduated from the Pennsylvania State College in 1914 with a B. S. in Electrical Engineering. He was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity. During World War I he served in France as a First Lieutenant. At the time of his mother's death he was living in Mexico and was unable to return for the funeral because of a bubonic plague. In 1967 he was living in marathon Shores, Florida.

Wilfred married Helen Louise DEACON, daughter of Horace Peterson DEACON and Anna Elizabeth WATSON, on 10 JUN 1922 in Germantown, Philadelphia Co, Pennsylvania. The marriage ended in divorce. Helen was born on 7 MAY 1898 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She died in JUN 1975 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia Co, Pennsylvania.

They had the following children:

	F	i	Helen Louise STRIEBY was born on 10 FEB 1924 in Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She died on 18 FEB 1966 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Helen Louise "Snooks" was a 1947 graduate of East Stroudsburg College, and received a Masters Degree from Western Maryland, Sept. 1, 1965. From 1957 to 1963 she was co-owner of a dairy farm outside of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. She was killed in an automibile accident as she was on her way home from Baltimore to Philadelphia. Five teenagers who had just left a party crossed over a median strip on a bridge and hit her car head on. Two scholarships have been started in her honor in Baltimore, Maryland. One is for a girl majoring in health education each year and the other is for a girl to go to hockey camp each year. Helen never married.
