He was county solicitor for twelve years. Mr. Strieby was a Mason and a member of the I. O. O. F. Mr. and Mrs. Strieby were members of the First Presbyterian Church.
Jonathan married Willhelmina M BASTIAN, daughter of William BASTIAN, on 18 SEP 1878 in Zelienople, Pennsylvania. Willhelmina was born on 1 JUL 1853 in Zelienople, Pennsylvania. She died in 1920 in Kew Gardens, New York and was buried in Wildwood Cemetery, Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
