Loyal Ames Streiby, son of Samuel Smith and Eliza jane (Johnston) Strieby, married Grace G Fifield. They pioneered and lived on 160 acres of land near Brawley, Imperial Valley, California. Mrs. Strieby was living in La Mesa, California in 1967.

She also has a music book hand written by Michael Strieby. Her assistance in compiling this book has been most helpful.
