Jesse Strieby, son of jacob and Sarah (Kaiser) Strieby married Juliann Follmer, daughter of William and Cathrine (Swartz) Follmer. William Follmer was the son of John Adam Follmer whose father, Michael Follmer, came from Germany. Catherine Swartz was the daughter of Peter Swartz, a native of germany. Jesse Strieby was a farmer in Loyalsock Twp, Lycoming Co, Pennsylvania and the 1850 census lists Peter kempel as also living in the home.

Jesse married Juliann FOLLMER, daughter of William FOLLMER and Catherine SWARTZ, on 22 FEB 1844. Juliann was born on 10 JUL 1823 in Lycoming Co, Pennsylvania. She died on 28 DEC 1893.

Some of the children are buried in the same lot with their parents in Williamsport Cemetery C, Washington Blvd, Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
