Frances Le Roy STRIEBY (Samuel Sedam, Aaron Lewis, Joseph, Jacob, Jacob, Hans Michael) was born on 22 JAN 1911 in Stanwood, Iowa. He died on 11 APR 2001 in Warrensburg, Johnson Co, Missouri.

Le Roy moved with his parents in 1918 from Stanwood, Iowa to Smith Center, Kansas. He graduated from Smith Center high school and attended Park College at Parkville, Missouri graduating in June 1993 with an A. B. degree majoring in psychology. After graduating he worked in his father's plumbing shop until moving to Clinton, Missouri where he worked in a flour mill for several years (was a flour blender mixing self-rising flour). For thirty years he was a mail carrier out of the post office at Clinton. He was Past Noble Grand of Clinton Lodge No. 169, I. O. O. F., past president of the Clinton Lions Club. As an active member in the Clinton Presbyterian church, he served as Sunday school superintendant and class teacher many years and choir director for eleven years. He was in the U. S. Army (S/Sgt) during World War II, stationed at Camp Barkley at Abilene, Texas. His wife, Cindonia, graduated from Clinton public schools and attended Park College at Parksville, graduating with an A. B. degree with majors in English and psychology in 1932. She taught in Clinton public schools for and tutored. She was a Past Noble Grand of Roberta Rebeka Lodge. She was a member of the Clinton Presbyterian church since childhood where she was a member of the choir and taught Sunday school many years.

Frances married Cindonia Dana MAYNOR, daughter of J. C. MAYNOR and Lula May SORTER, on 9 JUN 1935 in Parksville, Missouri. Cindonia was born on 11 MAY 1909 in Clinton, Missouri.
