Alldean Wright STRIEBY (Elmer Ellsworth, Andrew, William, John, Hans Michael) was born on 15 DEC 1895 in Kosciusko Co, Indiana. He died on 9 APR 1927 in Kosciusko Co, Indiana.
Alldean enjoyed hunting and fishing with his father and every water sport Lake Wawasee offered. He was in his third year at Purdue University when he enlisted inthe Navy and was later made an officer and places in charge of the Port of Fersandina, Florida. A biographical sketch of Irene can be found in "Who's Who in America," 1948-1965, later transferred to "Who's Who in American History." A sketch also appeared in "Who's Who of American Women", "Dictionary of International Biography", "Indiana Lives, 1968", and "Who's Who in Library Service". In 1967, she had just completed her term on the Board of Trustees of her Alma Mater in Georgia. Everyone is endebted to her for it is her extensive and thorough research of the Strieby family heritage that has made this volume possible.
Alldean married Irene Elizabeth MACY, daughter of Milton D MACY and Mary Olive HUNT, on 25 DEC 1917 in Miami Co, Indiana. Irene was born on 6 SEP 1894 in Miami Co, Indiana.
