Phillip Tiffin STREEVEY (Peter STREEVEY, Michael T STREEVEY, Peter STREEVEY, Paul STREEVY, Hans Michael) was born on 16 FEB 1892 in Chillicothe, Ohio.

Phillip Tiffin was inducted into the Army, July 26, 1918. He took training at Camp Sherman in Chillicothe, Ohio and later was sent to France. He had a bout with the flu and the war ended before he saw any action on the battle field. He was a private and was discharged from service January 4, 1919. He came home and continued farming and took care of his mother until her death in 1925. After his mother passed away he married and continued farming the home place. In 1969 Philip was still farming and raising cattle, with crops of grain, strawberries and rasberries.

Phillip married Betty E SHOULTS, daughter of Alex SHOULTS and Jessie MCNABNEY, on 10 MAR 1925. Betty was born on 4 SEP 1897 in Twin Twp, Bainbridge Co, Ohio.

They had the following children:

  M i Paul Revere STREEVEY was born on 28 DEC 1925 in Chillicothe, Ohio.

Paul was an honor roll student at Huntington High School, Chillicothe, Ohio. Having just completed the 11th grade in May, he was drafted into the Army in August 1944. He took basic training at Camp Hood, Texas, Fort Reno, Oklahoma, Fort Riley, Kansas and then at Keesler Air Base, Biloxi, Massachusettes. For quite a while he served at the National Air Port, Washington D. C. He said their job there was to take care of the President's plane when it came in and see to it that it was okay when ready for another trip. The plane was named "The Sacred Cow." He was Corporal when discharged in 1946. He was employed at Mead Corp. Papermill at Chillicothe, Ohio in 1969.
      Paul married Blanche SPEAKMAN on 17 JAN 1947 in Greenup, Kentucky.
  M ii Porter Taylor STREEVEY was born on 4 SEP 1927 in Chillicothe, Ohio. He died on 23 NOV 1968.

Porter Taylor was inducted into the Army in 1945 and took basic training at Fort Lewis, Washington. He served in the First Cavalry, being sent to Tokyo, Japan to build roads operating a grader. Porter received his homorable discharge in March 1947. He developed cirrhosis of the liver and was completely disabled and passed away November 23, 1968.

  F iv Faye STREEVEY was born on 15 SEP 1934 in Chillicothe, Ohio. She died on 15 SEP 1934 in Chillicothe, Ohio.
