Cyrus Oscar STRIEBY (Henry Jacob, Jonas, Jacob, Jacob, Hans Michael) was born on 13 MAR 1866 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. He died in 1948.

Cyrus Oscar Strieby, son of Henry J and Rachel (Ridge) Strieby, married Addie Adams, daughter of John J and Angelica (Ewin) Adams. He was educated in Pennsylvania where he attended the public schools, the normal school at Muncy and Susquehanna University at Selinsgrove, where he graduated Jun 12, 1889 with an M.A. degree in the classical course. Mr. Strieby began the practice of the law in Tucker Co, West Virginia Jan 1, 1891. December 4, 1911 he opened law offices at Elkins, Randolph Co, West Virginia. He was a member of the Democratic party, Masons and the Elks. He and his family were members of the Lutheran church. C. O. Strieby for whom a post office was named also served as state senator.

Cyrus married Addie ADAMS, daughter of John J ADAMS and Angelica EWIN, on 16 APR 1896 in the home of the bride, St George, Tucker Co, West Virginia. Addie was born on 21 NOV 1871.

They had the following children:
